How to use the Daystrack

1 ) Enter a name for the daystrack and the captcha value to set up the Daystrack.


2 ) There is no need to sign up or set up a username and password to set up the Daystrack.


3 ) The set up will generate an unique url to your Daystrack and the Daystrack can only be accessed through that url.


4 ) Since there is no authentication to access the Daystrack and it is accessed through the link, please do not share the link with anyone. Send it to your email id to maintain a copy of the link in your Inbox.


5 ) Contact support@mydaystrack.com in case you lose the link and need a copy of the link.


6 ) Bookmark the link in your browser for easy access later. You can add it to your home screen in mobile devices.


7 ) Do not use the daystrack on shared computers or public computers. If using, then remember to clear the history of the browser after closing the daystrack.


8 ) The daystrack will show the number of days to go for future events, and the days past a past event.


9 ) Days to go info is useful to plan for future events. And the days past info will be useful to keep track of repetitive tasks.


10 ) Days past info helps us to understand how long a certain task is being performed or how long it has been since an event has occurred.


11 ) Example for useful days past info are, "How long since quitting smoking or drinking, how long since started doing yoga or exercise, how long since started a new job or moving to a new house, how long since the computers and files were backed up, how long since hair dye was applied, how long since the last doctor visit and health check-ups etc.


12 ) In personal daystrack, the tabs will turn grey, whenever there is an upcoming event in the next three days. And the respective entry will also turn grey in the daystrack.

13 ) If you run out of space in the daystrack or want to set up a daystrack with a specific name ( Example - Bills, holidays etc..) then you can set up a single daystrack. You can give a suitable name to the single daystrack.

14 ) Shared daystrack can be set up to share the daystrack with team members. family and friends. You can retain the read and write link and share the read only link with others.
